The Toy Museum offers a simple and clear price list. Our prices are thought to allow anyone to immerse themselves into the fascinating history of toys. Tickets include a total access to the Toy Museums exhibitions, permanents and temporaries.

Associations, travel agencies, work councils, companies, communities or special institutes, the Toy Museum offers a range of activity allowing adults’ groups to appreciate a rich collection of more than 20.000 games and toys from every country and every era. Thanks to a recent renovation and a doubling of its surfaces, the museum offers a great visit for a nostalgic trip into childhood.

Childhood and toys from the 50s
Immerse yourself in the daily life of the 50s. It was the time of the roudoudous, the boys were playing marbles, the girls were cuddling their celluloid doll. Nostalgia guaranteed!

Discovery tour
From antique dolls to the first stuffed animals and the iconic wooden toys of the Jura, we invite you to go back in time and travel across four continents.

Jura, toy country
The story of the Jura toy begins in the Middle Ages at St Claude where the monks of the abbey produce the first wooden objects. A few hundred years later, the toy industry was born from the art of turning wood.

ANIMATIONS

Demonstration of turnery
To complete your visit, a professional turnery gives you all the secrets of his beautiful profession. Player, he is also the king of the top throw! Can you compete with him?

Escape-game
In an hour, the Toy Museum will open its doors to the prestigious "Toy of the Year" competition. According to the rumors, Edmond Lançon was working on the perfect toy and would have hidden the plans of his creation. Will you be able to find them and save the factory?

The groups on self guided tour of 15 people and more are asked to make a reservation in a 48 hours delay before the visit.

From kindergarten to graduate studies, the Toy Museum offers activities to discover, experiment, play and explore!
The toy, miniature world, is a reflection of the era in which it was born. It tells us about lifestyles and cultures, materials and techniques, small or the big stories, jobs, our local heritage…Moral support of our imagination, it develops and encourages creativity. The diversity of possible approaches introduces a transversality conducive to a visit associating teacher of different school subjects.

To make the most of your class’s visit to the museum, we recommend you to program your visit on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, arriving at the opening of the museum at 10am or 2pm (reception exceptionally possible outside of these days and hours, please contact us!)

The museum is fully accessible to people with disabilities and adapted to each disability.
An accompanying kit is available on request at the reception to facilitate your visit. It contains various tools to stimulate, soothe and accompany: fidgets (anti-stress balls, hourglass), yellow or solar glasses, cards to express your needs and emotions, magnifying glass...
Two noise-canceling headphones are also offered: one for adults one for children.
Two wheelchairs as well as cane-chairs are available.
